Arkansas Gay Bar Destroyed in Fire By Ross von Metzke An Arkansas gay bar that was the target of an attempted arson last month was destroyed by flames early Saturday morning. Fayetteville’s Studio 716 was left an empty shell with the east wall and parts of the roof and floorboards missing. Fire Chief Terry Lawson would not comment on how the fire may have started, but representatives for the club posted a message on their Web site calling the blaze “an unprovoked attack.”
